The student must be at least 14 years of age.

The student must be a graduate of an Islamic weekend schools in the US or abroad. If not then he or she will be given a folder containing basic Islamic knowledge and will be tested to ensure that the proper basic understanding of Islam is known. Upon passing the test the student will be considered an official student of Alqaem Institute.

The student must be a high school graduate, enrolled in a high school, or a similar program to a high school. Proof of the status of the student will be required.

The student must have two [2] letters of recommendation; one must be from a local Islamic center, signed preferably by the religious leader of the center. The letters should discuss the nature of the student regarding there ethics and morals also show the degree of his or her participation in the centers activities.

The student must submit his or her photo.
