What is the difference between this program and the programs in Middle East? |
|
In the Middle East (Najaf, Qum or Damascus): - There is a more spiritual environment.
- Complete dedication for the studies.
- Large variety of teachers’ experience.
- Isolation from the outside world.
- Too much distracting politics.
- Serious linguistic, cultural, emotional and financial challenges.
- A student is full time.
- A student is required to learn Persian or Arabic in order to start the program.
Study Here: which is based on the idea of something is better than nothing: - The study will not be full-time. It will be an average of 6 hours per week.
- The Muqadimaat (prerequisites or introduction level) courses will be in English. The student at the same time will learn Arabic language.
- Flexible time schedule. If the lecture is missed during its time, it will be accessible on the website.
- The studies will not conflict with the work, job, and academic studies. A person can have his degree in his academic studies, in addition to learning higher Islamic education.
- Free from unnecessary politics.
- Less cultural, linguistic, emotional and financial challenges.
- Studying will require a longer time and commitment; a student is considered a part time student in this program.
- Less variety of teachers.
Note: There is no doubt that the advantages of studying overseas are greater, and we support studying there as a priority. But for those who cannot study there for many reasons, we would like them to enjoy learning those courses here. If and when they feel that they can continue studying in the theological centers in the Middle East, they can do so. If the student is tested in the subjects taken here and pass they will not be required to repeat those subjects. This will surely save time.
